Cristiano Ronaldo could join Lionel Messi at Inter Miami in stunning deal: Report

Ronaldo could still play in the FIFA Club World Cup.
A surprising deal has been proposed that could see Cristiano Ronaldo join Inter Miami and play with Lionel Messi for the first time.
The Saudi Pro League team Al-Nassr presently has Portuguese superstar Ronaldo on their roster. His historic contract there is coming to an end, and no extension has been reached as of yet. It is anticipated that the 40-year-old’s tenure in the Middle East will be extended.
However, he might initially sign “a short-term deal with a Club World Cup team,” according to some. The five-time Ballon d’Or winner wants to participate in FIFA’s enlarged event in the US before going back to Saudi Arabia, according to talkSPORT.
After receiving a special invitation, Inter Miami will participate in the 32-team CWC competition, which is scheduled to begin on June 14. The door is not closed for Ronaldo, even though the Herons already have Messi on their books. They are “open to making the pair team-mates, though nothing is advanced,” according to the report.
According to reports, the Herons have “wiggle room to sign Ronaldo.” They have the money that would enable club co-owner David Beckham to sign the former Manchester United No. 7. A worldwide audience would be captivated if any deal goes through.
Despite never playing for the same team, Messi and Ronaldo have faced each other 36 times. The majority of these occurred when they were on different sides of the bitter El Clasico rivalry between Barcelona and Real Madrid.
However, the deal appears unrealistic as the Saudi club would want their star to renew his contract and continue for more years at the club. Certain reports have confirmed that Ronaldo will extend his contract with them for another year.
Al-Nassr failed to qualify for the FIFA Club World Cup after not winning the AFC Champions League last year. However, the Portuguese has already won that trophy thrice during his time at Real Madrid.
