Cristiano Ronaldo becomes first player to score 100+ goals for four different clubs

The striker recently scored 100 goals for Al-Nassr.

Cristiano Ronaldo set yet another goal-scoring landmark as he hit a century of goals for Al-Nassr.

The legendary Portuguese player has now scored 100 goals for four separate clubs, making him the only player in football history to do so. In his initial stints with Manchester United, Real Madrid, Juventus, and now Al Nassr, Ronaldo achieved the milestone.

Following his advancement through Sporting Lisbon’s development system, Ronaldo joined Manchester United in 2003. He won three Premier League titles and a UEFA Champions League at Old Trafford.

The only team for which Ronaldo did not score 100 goals were Sporting CP, his first club.

Even though Ronaldo scored Al Nassr’s 100th goal from the penalty spot in the Saudi Super Cup final, his team did not win the silverware.

In a penalty battle, Al Ahli defeated Jorge Jesus’s team 5–3, depriving Ronaldo of his inaugural major trophy in Saudi Arabia.

Since joining Al Nassr in December 2022, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner has already lost three straight finals. Ronaldo’s individual achievement provides a minor comfort despite the loss.

Ronaldo achieved his greatest success when playing for Real Madrid, where he became the team’s all-time top scorer. During his eight years with the team, he helped the Spanish powerhouses win 16 trophies, including four Champions League crowns.

Ronaldo has scored 138 goals in 221 games for the Portugal national team in addition to his club accomplishments.

Ronaldo is on track to reach 1,000 goals. The forward gave himself the next two seasons to further his own success by committing to Al Nassr through 2027. Meanwhile, leading the team to a trophy is another goal for the Portugal international at the Saudi club.
