Ronaldo is now only 50 goals away from accomplishing 1,000 career goals.
After netting his historic 950th career goal in the Saudi Pro League match against Al-Hazm at the King Abdullah Sport City Stadium in Saudi Arabia, Portuguese football player Cristiano Ronaldo posted on his social media handles. Ronaldo posted on X, Instagram and Facebook, saying, “Happy to hit 950 goals and help the team win! Always hungry for more.”
After a fierce battle between the two Saudi teams, Ronaldo’s team defeated Al-Hazm 2-0. Bruno Varela, the goalkeeper for Al Hazm, was very impressive. He frustrated Al-Nassr by doing a fantastic job of denying goals to Sadio Mané and Angelo Gabriel.
Ronaldo scored his 950th goal in the 88th minute of the game, before Joao Felix broke the tie in the 25th minute with a strong header. Kingsley Coman sent a low cross to Cristiano Ronaldo, who easily put it inside the goal. This was followed by the ‘Siuuu’ celebration.
