Ronaldo posted fresh photos of himself as he recovers from an injury.

Across his social media accounts, football player Cristiano Ronaldo gave a positive report on his recovery, saying that he is “getting better every day.”

The Al-Nassr skipper suffered a hamstring injury during the Saudi Pro League game against Al-Fayha last month. Cristiano Ronaldo started his recovery process by leaving for Spain to undergo an extensive procedure as he aims for a quick return to action.

Following the match against Al Fayha, Cristiano Ronaldo was diagnosed with a hamstring injury, according to an official statement from Al-Nassr. He began a rehabilitation program and will be continuously assessed. The team hasn’t said when he will be able to play again, though.

Late in the game against Al-Fayha, the 41-year-old forward left the pitch in agony. Even though his Saudi team won, Cristiano Ronaldo had a difficult game where he missed a penalty in the 12th minute. Abdullah Al-Hamdan replaced him in the 81st minute after his gesture to the bench.

Fans were worried that the former Real Madrid and Manchester United player may miss the 2026 World Cup. But Portugal manager Roberto Martinez gave a comforting update after announcing his team (for March break) last week.

Manager Martinez revealed on Friday that Ronaldo would not be playing in Portugal’s pre-FIFA World Cup friendlies. Ronaldo has been omitted due to a “minor muscle injury,” according to the coach.

Ronaldo is the all-time top scorer in international football with 143 goals in 226 games for Portugal. When league competition in the Saudi Pro League begins, Al-Nassr will be hoping Cristiano Ronaldo is back fit enough to play again.
