Ronaldo has acquired a stake in the team.

Cristiano Ronaldo has partnered with a UFC world champion on a new side project. The five-time Ballon d’Or winner has his enormous net worth tied to a variety of profitable ventures.

Cristiano Ronaldo owns his own clothing line in addition to lines of hotels and fitness centres bearing his well-known name.

By putting money into the Spanish promotion WOW FC, which UFC lightweight champion Ilia Topuria partially controls, he has now entered the world of mixed martial arts (MMA).

The 40-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo is ecstatic to be a part of the rapidly growing promotion, which he intends to take to new heights.

Ronaldo’s public conflict with Topuria ends with his association with WOW FC.

In October of last year, CR7 was seen on camera saying that the Spaniard, who was born in Georgia, “talked too much” and that he hadn’t defeated any notable opponents prior to his fight with Max Holloway.

Since defeating Charles Oliveira for the vacant lightweight title in June, Topuria has not entered the octagon.

He was supposed to face British fighter Paddy Pimblett in a grudge bout in January, but the contest is seriously in jeopardy.
