Cristiano Ronaldo's sister reacts to fan's absurd request to stop him marrying Georgina Rodriguez

The Portuguese megastar recently got engaged to Georgina.

In response to a fan’s request to prevent the Al-Nassr star from marrying Georgina Rodriguez, Cristiano Ronaldo’s sister, Katia Aveiro answered him during her Q&A session on Instagram.

On August 12, 2025, it was announced that Ronaldo had finally proposed to his longtime partner and put a ring on it, ending years of rumours about their relationship’s status.

On social media, Rodriguez quickly flaunted her stunning engagement ring, which is rumoured to cost seven figures. Plans are currently being made for an extravagant wedding procession.

The fans from all around the world have been swift to congratulate them. After meeting during CR7’s record-breaking tenure as a “Galactico” at Real Madrid, the happy couple has been together for nine years.

However, despite dating Georgina for so long, Ronaldo was once asked when he would marry her, and the striker said he was waiting for that click between them.

However, not everyone is pleased with the news. One fan shared the following during a Q&A session organised by Katia Aveiro on Instagram:

“Please tell Cris not to get married.”

Ronaldo’s sister replied with:

“Oh, woman, let the boy do what makes him happy. Jeez, people… You have to think about your life and not that of others. This disease is serious, be careful.”

Meanwhile, Ronaldo has become more frustrated on the field, although he is still happy off it. The 40-year-old Al-Nassr striker has continued to score goals. But after losing to Al-Ahli in the Saudi Super Cup final, significant Middle Eastern silverware is still elusive.
