Cristiano Ronaldo teams up with director Matthew Vaughn to launch production company

The company UR-MARV has produced two movies and is now working on a new film.
Portugal football captain Cristiano Ronaldo has opened a new film company called UR-Marv in collaboration with director Matthew Vaughn.
In a statement issued, the independent studio said its goal is to, ”embrace innovative technology, with a nod to tradition”.
“This is an exciting chapter for me, as I look ahead to new ventures in business,” Ronaldo said in a statement.
Vaughn added, “Cristiano has created stories on the pitch that I could never have written, and I look forward to creating inspiring movies with him – he’s a real-life superhero.”
Together, Cristiano Ronaldo and Vaughn have produced and financed two action movies. They are currently working on a third. The first release is anticipated to be announced soon by the studio.
The 40-year-old football player leads all international goal scorers with 136 goals and has made the most appearances.
Cristiano Ronaldo has won five Ballon d’Or in his career and has played for elite teams like Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus. The player is currently playing for Saudi club Al-Nassr at the age of 40. He will hope to collect more trophies before announcing his retirement.
A statement adds that “Ronaldo and Vaughn have financed and produced two action films together and are about to start a third in the same series”. No release date has been revealed as yet, but further updates are said to be coming “soon”.
The iconic frontman, who is 40 years old, is starting to make plans for the conclusion of his playing career. But there is no indication it will happen anytime soon. The all-time great is still scoring goals for Portugal and Al-Nassr, a Saudi Pro League team.
However, outside of sports, Cristiano Ronaldo has a significant commercial empire. In addition, he has amassed an unprecedented social media following. After starting the UR Cristiano YouTube channel, he has posted videos of behind-the-scenes of his life and hosted many other famous top personalities.
