The Portuguese star uncle was later released from hospital.
According to reports, on Wednesday, Cristiano Ronaldo’s uncle Jorge Viveiros was hit by a car while riding his motorcycle and was taken to the hospital.
According to Jornal da Madeira, Ronaldo’s mother’s brother, Viveiros, was struck by a car in Saint Helier, the island of Jersey’s capital. After receiving assistance from firefighters at the scene of the accident, Viveiros was transported to the hospital.
The family member of the Al-Nassr star was freed and permitted to go home that same day after spending some time under monitoring at the hospital.
Ronaldo’s mother Dolores Aveiro, who frequently attends his games, has a brother named Viveiros. Ronaldo has close ties to his mother, and in January, he came back to Portugal from Saudi Arabia for her 69th birthday. He also gave her a brand-new Porche as a gift.
Ronaldo and his family are very close, especially his mother, Dolores Aveiro. The Portugal legend frequently shares pictures of himself and his family on social media.
Ronaldo is currently in Saudi and it remains to be seen if he will travel to check up on his uncle. Ronaldo has entered the last seven months of his current contract with Al-Nassr.
Cristiano Ronaldo to return to Sporting?
The 39-year-old has not yet made a decision regarding his future, but he has frequently expressed his wish to continue playing football in order to break more goal-scoring records.
He began his career at Sporting CP, the team his mother supports, before joining Manchester United, and she could not wait for him to go back to Portugal and finish his career there.
“Ronaldo has to come back here,” she once said. “If it were my choice, he would already be here. He likes to watch Sporting games.
“I’ve already told him: ‘Son, before I die, I want to see you return to Sporting’. He says: ‘Let’s see’: But if it can’t be him, then Cristianinho!”
