Dean Huijsen's release clause at Bournemouth revealed as Real Madrid & Man United show interest: Report

The centre-back has shone for the Cherries this season.
Although Real Madrid and Manchester United are considering a summer move, Dean Huijsen’s Bournemouth deal has a sizable release clause.
Following an outstanding debut season, clubs from all across Europe have expressed interest in the 19-year-old Spanish defender. Los Blancos and Man Utd are heavily linked with the centre-back and are planning a move for the player in the summer.
In an unexpected European push, Huijsen has assisted the Cherries in their ascent up the league. The 19-year-old was brought for £12.6 million by Premier League team Bournemouth from Juventus.
This season, he has made 19 appearances, scored twice, and helped Andoni Iraola’s side remain fifth in the league. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano claims Huijsen’s contract contains a £50 million release clause.
Any team can activate it throughout the summer. Therefore, in July, Huijsen might have his choice to join among Europe’s best clubs. Ruben Amorim, the manager of Manchester United, is a huge fan of Huijsen. But Real Madrid are also in the race and could be a fierce rival to the Red Devils’s desire in the upcoming transfer window.
Born in Amsterdam, the youngster with his family relocated to Spain when he was five years old. Huijsen, now 19, began his professional career there and holds Spanish citizenship.
Before being sent on loan to Roma, he had made just one appearance for Juventus. According to reports, Milan, Chelsea, and Bayern Munich are also interested in signing the young player now.
Dean Huijsen told the Guardian: “Jose was great even though I wasn’t with him for too long. He was really good to me and he gave me an opportunity and I’ll always be grateful for that.”
“He believed in me and I think someone that big believing in you is very special, especially for a young guy coming through. For someone that big to say what he said is really special and it only gives you confidence as a player.”
