DR Congo announce squad for crucial 2026 World Cup playoff final

Congo will play in the playoffs final in the hope of booking their tickets to the 2026 WC competition.
In order to go to the 2026 FIFA World Cup, DR Congo will play the victor of Jamaica vs. New Caledonia in late March.
A 26-man roster for the 2026 FIFA World Cup intercontinental playoff has been revealed by the coach of the Democratic Republic of the Congo national team.
On March 11, the eagerly anticipated “Leopards” team roster was revealed. These 26 players have been given the task of securing DR Congo’s second-ever World Cup appearance. Captain Chancel Mbemba, Cedric Bakambu, Yoane Wissa, Samuel Moutoussamy, and other important pillars will be crucial to Sébastien Desabre.
Dylan Batubinsika, Jeremy Ngakia, Grady Diangana, and Simon Banza, who were not present at the Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, have been called back by the French coach.
