Neither of the matches between these nations have ended in a draw.

The Egypt national football team will now have a face-off against the Belgium national football team for their opening game of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The Group G fixture is all set to take place at the Seattle Stadium.

The Pharaohs have lacked consistency in their performances ahead of the mega competition. They are coming in after facing a 1-2 defeat at the hands of Brazil in their last international friendly outing. They did try to win, but their efforts were not enough. The Egypt national football team will be keen for a positive start on the biggest stage of football.

On the other hand, the Red Devils are on a sensational run of form at the moment. They secured back-to-back wins in their last two friendlies ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026. The Belgium national football team first outplayed Croatia and then secured a dominant win against Tunisia. They will be fully confident for their opening game, but the Pharaohs will surely be looking to make things tougher for them.

Establishing control in the midfield are going to be Mohanad Lasheen, Marwan Attia and Emam Ashour. They will play a major role for the Pharaohs.

In the defence, Mohamed Hany, Mohamed Abdelmonem, Yasser Ibrahim and Ahmed Fotouh are likely to start. Mostafa Shobeir will be between the sticks.
