The majority of the players are from the Premier League!

England have now unveiled the final list of their contingent for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. They have secured the prestigious title once and their sole victory came in 1966.

The Three Lions have a star-studded lineup and are also one of the favourites to win FIFA’s flagship tournament alongside France and Spain. Their efforts during the World Cup qualifiers were top-notch, but their performances in their last two friendly matches were underwhelming.

They were first held to a 1-1 draw by Uruguay and then tasted a defeat at the hands of Japan. Thomas Tuchel will be working on the strategies and this is going to help them heading into the mega competition. The 52-year-old head coach has made some serious decisions while announcing the final squad. Tuchel has dropped many top stars who were in his plans during the March international break.

The Englishmen are placed in Group L along with the likes of Ghana, Panama and Croatia. Before heading to the FIFA World Cup 2026, they are scheduled to take on New Zealand and Costa Rica for friendly fixtures.

The majority of the players in the English national football team are from the Premier League. The in-form forward who plays for Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga, Harry Kane, is going to lead them in the attacking front. Stars from other leagues, like the Saudi Pro League and LaLiga, are also going to represent the Three Lions.
