Saka hasn’t fully recovered from his previous injury.
Thomas Tuchel has disclosed worrying news regarding Bukayo Saka. The German manager revealed that the Arsenal star is still recovering from an Achilles injury and cannot participate in back-to-back training.
He further confirmed that he will have to carefully integrate the player back to full fitness, avoiding any setback in his recovery.
During the club season, the England international endured another injury-plagued campaign. Saka spent most of the season on the sidelines.
However, he was able to recover in the final stretch of the campaign. That was enough for Tuchel to give Saka a place in England’s World Cup final squad.
Thomas Tuchel reveals Bukayo Saka’s fitness issue

However, Tuchel’s latest comments on Bukayo Saka’s injury have now raised some concerns, knowing he is a key player.
The Three Lions’ coach said, “We still have to take a little bit of care for Bukayo [Saka] who had an injury in March and carried it through the club campaign.
“He made himself available at the end of the season and did so brilliantly, but he was managed in between matches. That continues a bit at the moment – we are building him up.
“We just came from training and everyone was involved including Bukayo.”
Tuchel also stressed that he will assess Bukayo Saka during England’s last warm-up game against Costa Rica before they embark on their World Cup campaign.
England is seen as one of the top contenders. Plenty of expectations are placed on Tuchel to deliver the trophy. However, he also hopes for all his players to be fully fit during the competition.
Moreover, Tuchel will expect Saka to build on his fitness and remain fully fit for their World Cup campaign. The former Bayern Munich coach will be counting on him to deliver at the football’s grandest stage.
