The Three Lions will face Finland and Greece in the Nations League games.

Interim manager Lee Carsley has announced England’s squad for their second international break in October. The Three Lions will face Greece and Finland in the UEFA Nations League.

Following a terrific start as England’s temporary manager Carsely has made a handful of changes this time as the Three Lions return to action once again under him.

Dominic Solanke has been called up after his scintillating run of performance for Tottenham Hotspur, where he churned out three goals in a row. This is Solanke’s second call-up for the national team. The first came in 2017.

Meanwhile, Solanke’s club teammate, James Maddison has once again not received a call despite displaying an eye-catching performance last week. On the other hand, Jude Bellingham has now been included in the squad after missing out on September matches due to injury.

There is no place for Manchester United duo Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw. The former has struggled to remain consistent this season and hence has been left out of the roster. Shaw is still injured and labouring to get fit.

The Three Lions have started the UEFA Nations League term with impressive wins seeing off both the Republic of Ireland and Finland last month. Now during their October international break, they will face Greece and Finland.
