They are placed in Group L of the World Cup, alongside Croatia, Ghana and Panama. It could prove to be a tough encounter for the Three Lions, who are led by manager Thomas Tuchel.
New Zealand secured their position after winning the OFC qualification tournament, becoming the Oceania nation to directly qualify for the tournament after its expansion to 48 teams. They will be competing in Group G with Belgium, Iran and Egypt for a spot in the knockout stages.
