4. Bobby Gould (1992)
During his managerial career, Bobby Gould managed numerous clubs and led them to success as he forged his name and was deemed one of the finest English managers.
As a coach, Gould led the Norwegian team Aalesunds FK, Bristol Rovers, Coventry City, Wimbledon, Queen’s Park Rangers, and West Bromwich Albion. Gould’s accomplishments with Wimbledon made him most famous. The underdog Wimbledon defeated Liverpool to win the 1988 FA Cup final at Wembley during its rookie campaign.
3. Sam Allardyce (2001)
Sam Allardyce’s managerial stint has been a rollercoaster ride considering the number of clubs he has managed throughout his career. However, his first spell as a head coach was as a player and manager, where he managed Limerick and was also playing for them.
His big managerial spell came at Blackpool, where he served for a few years before taking over another club. He is one of the few managers who haven’t spent a long period of time at the clubs. Most of the time, he was at a club, which didn’t last for more than two years, besides West Ham, where he spent four years.
2. Craig Shakespeare (2017)
Craig Shakespeare was a coach at Hull City, Leicester City, and West Bromwich Albion. He was a temporary coach at West Brom in 2006 and had a similar job at Leicester in February 2017 until he was named manager in March.
He was named the official manager of Leicester City on 8 June 2017 after agreeing a three-year deal. Later on, he worked as a temporary coach for the England national team.
1. Liam Rosenior (2026)
Rosenior is just the fourth English manager to prevail in his initial three Premier League games upon taking over as a manager in the Premier League. Chelsea’s “spirit, fight, and resiliency” has impressed the manager, who has won six of his seven games in charge.
Rosenior succeeded Enzo Maresca at the club and so far has recorded an excellent winning run at the West London club. Under him, the Blues are currently fifth in the league and will hope to qualify for the UEFA Champions League despite an inconsistent run in between.
