Many players have inspired their teams to success and have become accustomed to lifting the trophy many times in their careers in England.

3. Raheem Sterling

His record is now tied with former teammates like Phil Foden and John Stones after winning the competition in 2016, 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021. From 2018 to 2021, he was a member of the City team that won four straight League Cups.
2. Phil Foden
Foden is only a few of Manchester City players to win five League Cups. Foden has established himself as one of City’s most accomplished players.
With Manchester City, Phil Foden has won five EFL Cup (Carabao Cup) trophies. As a member of the Manchester City team that dominated the competition, including the 2025–2026 season, he accomplished this milestone by winning five League Cup crowns in addition to numerous Premier League and FA Cup trophies.
1. John Stones
With Manchester City, John Stones has won five EFL Cup (Carabao Cup) trophies. He was a member of the team that won in 2017–18, 2018–19, 2019–20, and 2020–21. The centre back added the fifth prize to his collection this season, although he was not included in the squad this time because of an injury.
After joining the team, Stones emerged as Guardiola’s one of the most important players. However, his frequent injuries have diminished his significance in the squad. The player is presently recovering from an injury.
