The Norway striker had to get stitches for his latest injury.
Erling Haaland needed stitches on his face after the striker was left with a bruised face during international duty with Norway. Luckily, the forward hasn’t been ruled out of their game against Moldova.
Following his injury, Haaland shared a couple of his photos on social media after the player collided with a bus door. He shared on Snapchat a photo of the wound under his lip that required stitching
However, positive news is that it isn’t serious and he will be ready for their national team outing in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
Haaland updates his fans on a small injury

Taking to Snapchat, Haaland let his fans know that he had met with a small accident while going to the hotel on the app. He said:
“Just got banged out by a bus door. Three stiches.”
He then added: “Looks actually quite good.”
Some might see it as a light-hearted injury, but the fans will feel relieved as their marksman has avoided a serious injury. The Manchester City forward will be ready to feature in the next match when Norway resume their qualifiers campaign.
They are currently in Group I, and at the top of the table with 12 points. Meanwhile, other nations alongside them are Israel, Italy, Moldova, and Estonia.
Meanwhile, Haaland will be eager to lead his nation to wins in the September break matches. Norway will count on him to lead the attacking line and take onus of goalscoring.
He has started the new season in his typical goalscoring form, recording three goals in three Premier League matches despite Manchester City securing only one win in those matches.
The 25-year-old will look to leave those defeats behind him when he takes the field in a national colour shirt. His main objective will be to ensure that his side grabs those much-needed wins and solidifies their top spot in the group.
