Haaland is likely to miss the game against Swansea City.
Pep Guardiola has provided updates on the health of Abdukodir Khusanov, Rodri, and Erling Haaland ahead of Manchester City’s Carabao Cup match against Swansea City on Wednesday.
Khusanov, who has been out of the last seven games, is expected to participate against the EFL Championship team, the manager disclosed.
Although Rodri has resumed training at the CFA, the coach stated that he is not yet ready and would return “hopefully soon.” Due to a muscle injury, the key midfield player has missed the last three games and is still working on his fitness.

Although the manager suggested he would try to rotate for this most recent match, Erling Haaland appeared uneasy during the 1-0 loss to Aston Villa. Guardiola says he will be evaluated today before afternoon training.
“Khusa is ready to play a few minutes tomorrow and Rodri is still not,” the Man City boss told waiting media.
“So is getting better, training with us partial. But, of course, after what happened two times with the muscular injuries we are going to see how he is this week.”
“Erling I didn’t see him today but it was a knock and day by day is better. But now we train this afternoon and will know more exactly how does he feel.”
“Not just Erling, Ruben and Josko and the other ones.”
“In the previous season we were in that stage with a lot of injuries. Now we have less and now have players who need minutes to get. And the Carabao Cup is perfect for that.”
City return to action tonight after suffering a 1-0 defeat against Aston Villa in the previous game, which saw them fall to fifth place in the Premier League table. They are now on equal points with their arch-rivals Manchester United.

He picked up a knock against Aston Villa.
When will Rodri return from an injury?
