France hopes to win their first Euro after 24 years.

Didier Deschamps will be hopeful that his French team can rally and win the Euro 2024 in Germany after a dismal Euro 2020 performance that witnessed Les Bleus lose a penalty shootout to Switzerland in the round of 16 and suffer heartbreak against Argentina in the final of the World Cup in Qatar in 2022.

They are, as always, one of the fancies for the title of Euro 2024, trailing only England in the total market. They are projected to go long in the tournament and you wouldn’t bet against them matching Italy and Germany’s track as one of the most prosperous nations in the history of the tournament with three European Championship trophies, thanks to the weaponry of Kylian Mbappé, the adaptability of Antoine Griezmann, and a plethora of developing talents.

3. Aurélien Tchouaméni

Aurélien Tchouaméni is one of the players to watch at Euro 2024. The French international often operates away from the spotlight, but he has played a crucial role in Real Madrid’s success this year.

Tchouaméni embodies the ideal contemporary midfielder, skillfully combining physical strength, technical ability, and tactical awareness. Disrupting the opposition’s play, maintaining possession, and serving as the critical link between attack and defense are all essential components of his role.

2. Ibrahima Konaté

The 25-year-old Ibrahima Konaté is expected to start for France against Austria in their opening tournament encounter on 17th June, ahead of William Saliba of Arsenal. Konaté will play center-back alongside Dayot Upamecano.

Although Konaté didn’t have the most impressive club season finale, he has been a consistent starter for Les Bleus for the last two years, which is quite an accomplishment given the tremendous depth of Deschamps’ team.

1. Kylian Mbappé

To secure qualification for Euro 2024, Kylian Mbappé produced an incredible brace. Moving forward, France will rely on him to score goals as they aim for their first European Championship victory in 24 years.

Mbappé has demonstrated his ability to perform under pressure by scoring a hat-trick in the World Cup final last year. With France’s creativity behind the attacking line, he will be able to run in behind and wreak havoc.
