Top seven European title races that could go to the final day

The fight for the crown remains wide open across several different leagues!

European club football goes on for a whole season. The fans are always ready to support. Some of the top European leagues still have the title race going, and the situation is getting intense as the season is coming to a close.

Bayern Munich have already clinched the Bundesliga 2025-26 after putting on some exceptional performances. FC Porto are the Liga Portugal winners. FC Barcelona and Inter Milan are really close to winning the LaLiga and Serie A titles, respectively.

Paris Saint-Germain did not look in their best form in the Ligue 1. But as things stand, the Parisians are likely to win the title.

Talking about one of the toughest leagues in the world, the Premier League title race is still on. Arsenal and Manchester City are battling hard. They are very close at the top of the league table.

It is still very hard to determine which one of these clubs is going to win the league title. Other than these top leagues, the title race in some other European leagues is still on.

Seven interesting European league title races to follow now:

7. Scottish Premiership

Heart of Midlothian F.C. and Celtic FC are battling hard. With similar points on the league table, these clubs must not make any mistake of dropping points. The Jam Tarts have a game in hand, and this is going to give them a slight edge.

The Celts are in top form and will be looking to continue with their current flow.

6. Polish Ekstraklasa

Lech Poznan are comfortably sitting at the top of the league table with 55 points, and Gornik Zabrze are in second place. They are now looking to pressurise the table toppers. With three to four games remaining, both of the clubs will be eager to avoid all the mistakes as they can surely see a turn in the tide.

The battle in the bottom half of the Polish Ekstraklasa has also gotten intense.

5. Austrian Bundesliga

With just the last two rounds of fixtures left, Sturm Graz, LASK and RB Salzburg are the top three sides in the Austrian Bundesliga title race. The Red Bulls and the Blacks recently battled to a draw, and LASK now have a chance to get to the top of the table.

Neither of these three clubs can afford to drop points. If it happens, this can become a one-way title race.

4. Russian Premier League

FC Krasnodar and FC Zenit Saint Petersburg are going edge-to-edge in the Russian Premier League standings. Due to the sanctions banning them from UEFA competitions, sadly, neither of these winning clubs will get a chance to compete in the Champions League. They surely have a heated title race going on with just two matchdays left.

Krasnodar have 63 points and Zenit are placed second on 62 points.

3. Nemzeti Bajnokság I

With just one game left, any of ETO FC Győr or Ferencvárosi TC can go on and clinch the Nemzeti Bajnokság I trophy. ETO are at the top of the league table with 66 points, and just one point behind sit the Greens.

The league leaders must secure a win in their upcoming fixture to clinch the title. Ferencvárosi must not drop any points. They have a chance at winning the league only if ETO FC Győr drop points.

2. Danish Superliga

Aarhus Gymnastikforening are at the top of the league table and are three points ahead of FC Midtjylland. The Boys of the Moor have a game in hand, and they must not drop points if they want to win the Superligaen.

European side Midtjylland are in a good run of form and have a chance to clinch the league title, but the Whites are not going to back down easily.

1. English Premier League

The Mikel Arteta-led Arsenal and Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City are locked in. The Gunners are at the top of the Premier League points table. They recently saw a drop in performance.

Although their chances of winning the top European league have gone down, they are still the favourites to win the EPL this season. The Cityzens have put in top efforts in their recent matches. Man City have a game in hand at the moment.

This game can help them reduce the gap in points tally with Arsenal. With just a few matches left, both of these clubs will be looking to give their all.
