Everton eager to sign Manchester City's Jack Grealish on loan: Report

The former Aston Villa star has lost his starting role at City.
According to sources, Everton are in negotiations with Manchester City to sign Jack Grealish on loan.
After battling for minutes this past season and dropping down the hierarchy, Grealish, 29, appears destined to leave Etihad this summer.
Everton have reportedly approached City to sign the out-of-favour winger on a season-long loan, according to The Athletic.
The deal is said to be “complicated”, and there are no assurances that it will turn into reality. The Toffees have started talking about a possible transfer, though.
Greaslish didn’t even feature in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup
Amid rumours about his future, Grealish allegedly consented to train alone from the rest of the Man City team last month.
Moreover, Pep Guardiola decided not to include the former Aston Villa player in his squad for the summer’s FIFA Club World Cup competition.
Grealish only made seven Premier League starts the previous season and was frequently left out of Guardiola’s lineup.

The England international signed a contract with Man City through the summer of 2027 after joining the team in a transfer that cost them £100 million in 2021.
Guardiola has maintained that Grealish’s off-field actions during his difficult period at City have not resulted in him playing fewer minutes. However, the arrival of Jeremy Doku and the signing of Omar Marmoush have surely hindered his game time at the club.
Moreover, Grealish has often faced criticism for not being able to live up to his price tag since joining Guardiola’s side. Maybe joining the Toffees could help him find his form back, which he demonstrated to the world during his time at Aston Villa.
