Spain manager Luis de la Fuente has officially revealed the 26-man final squad selection for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which is just a few weeks away.
Additionally, a sizable number of FC Barcelona players will travel to North America for the major competition next month, as was anticipated.

In fact, De la Fuente has called up eight Barcelona players, beginning with goalkeeper Joan Garcia, who won the Zamora Trophy in his first season with the team.
Pau Cubarsi, one of the top young defenders in Europe this season, also merits a spot in the squad. He is probably going to start for La Roja in the World Cup.
Eric Garcia, a versatile player who had a great season and can play defensive midfield, centre back, and right back, joins him.
Pedri was guaranteed a spot on the roster. Meanwhile, Gavi, who made a late push for a berth with impressive performances after recovering from a long-term injury in March, is included in the midfield department.
Dani Olmo is also given the go-ahead and is anticipated to be crucial to Spain’s North American campaign. However, Fermin Lopez, another attacking midfielder, is sidelined due to injury.
Ferran Torres is an obvious choice for the attack since he is a reliable member of De la Fuente’s team. Teenage sensation Lamine Yamal, who is presently recuperating from a hamstring injury and is anticipated to be fit only in time for Euro 2024 winners’ third group match, joins him.
