European clubs will be frontrunners to win the competition.
Since some of the biggest names in the game will be participating in the FIFA Club World Cup 2025, the outright betting market has begun to build up steam. Among the hopefuls are teams like Real Madrid, PSG, Manchester City, and Bayern Munich. The tournament this year is therefore expected to be among the fiercest and most widely seen in its history.
Market backing for Real Madrid
When it comes to global domination, very few football teams can compare to Real Madrid’s legacy.
Because of their expertise and recent efforts to regain their footing, it is not surprising that they start their FIFA Club World Cup 2025 campaign as the tournament favourites, at 5.00 to win the title. They have a squad full of champions and outstanding performers.
In international competitions, Madrid consistently manages to showcase a good performance. They are the team to defeat because of their ability to adapt to changing play and perform well under duress.
PSG second favourite to win the trophy
Paris Saint-Germain are ranked second in the bookmakers’ betting, at 5.75, barely behind Madrid. PSG are all too accustomed to dominating in their own country, but they have not yet achieved much global success. However, the Champions League is not the same as the FIFA Club World Cup 2025, which they may be more suited to win.
What about Manchester City?
Under Pep Guardiola, Manchester City have completely changed how club football is played. With odds of 6.75, City are seen as the third favourite to win the FIFA Club World Cup 2025, primarily because of their tactical skill and consistency. With their maiden Champions League victory a few years back, the Cityzens have already dominated Europe; now, the Club World Cup is another chance to establish themselves as one of the greatest.
Are Bayern Munich the outsiders?
At 8.00 odds, Bayern Munich round out the top tier of favourites. The champions from Germany might not receive as much media attention as their peers; nonetheless, they are a formidable force due to their professionalism and efficiency on the field. Bayern, who are renowned for their strong structure and powerful assaults, are ready for the fierce FIFA Club World Cup 2025 action.
Contenders for Golden Boot?
Although the FIFA Club World Cup 2025’s trophy will garner most of the media attention, the contest for the top goalscorer is just as fascinating. At 4.50 odds, Kylian Mbappe is in the lead and is anticipated to play a key role in Real Madrid’s campaign. In pivotal games, the French attacker is known for his ability to deliver. He is a problem for defenders because of his speed and finishing prowess.
Ousmane Dembele, his former clubmate, is right behind him with 7.00 odds. His attacking play is mostly from wide positions. But if PSG can advance far in the FIFA Club World Cup 2025, he might score many goals with better decision-making and a sharper eye for goal.
The odds for Desire Doue, a name that may cause some eyebrows to raise, are 8.00. The PSG young player may use this competition as a platform to further improve his global image after impressing with his performances in Ligue 1. Doue might be one of the tournament’s talking points if his squad can pull off a few upsets.
Even though it has been a decent few months, Erling Haaland is at 15.00. Even if those odds take into account his recent form and injury issues, they nevertheless provide value for those who want to support a player who can score goals quickly. Haaland might yet leave his imprint if Manchester City advance far.
Lionel Messi, who is an outside contender at 17.00 odds, is still in the running for the Golden Boot. Messi is a more inventive player now than the explosive scorer he was at Barcelona. He cannot be totally ruled out due to his more lethal ability to score from set pieces and some long-range attempts.
