Real Madrid, the 2023–24 UEFA Champions League winners, beat Mexican team Pachuca on December 18, 2024, at Lusail Stadium in Lusail, Qatar, to win the 2024 title.

Real Madrid made it straight to the competition final as the 2023–24 UEFA Champions League champions. On December 14, 2024, Pachuca became victorious in the FIFA Challenger Cup, a play-off match.
