The World Cup will feature a record 48 teams for the first time

The FIFA World Cup 2026 has reached its final countdown, with the excitement for football’s largest spectacle at its pinnacle. With the first match kicking off in less than two weeks, nations are currently underway with their final preparations.

The 2026 campaign is set to be co-hosted by the USA, Mexico and Canada; the tournament will be the first World Cup competition to be held in North America after 32 years. The new edition will also feature a record 48 teams, instead of the traditional 32.

With the expanded form, the 2026 World Cup is set to feature a host of nations, from former winners to debutants, with each side competing for the ultimate glory.

On that note, here are the probable lineups for all participating 48 national teams.
