Lamine Yamal scored his first-ever FIFA World Cup goal.

Lamine Yamal opened Spain’s FIFA World Cup 2026 account, while Mohamed Salah led Egypt to victory. Cabo Verde stole the show (again), tying 2-2 with Uruguay.

Cabo Verde made headlines again. This time on Matchday 11, after drawing with Uruguay, another FIFA World Cup powerhouse.

Spain, which suffered a frustrating draw in their opening World Cup game, rebounded with a thumping victory over Saudi Arabia. Meanwhile, Belgium and Iran shared the spoils in a 0-0 draw. In the last match, Egypt defeated New Zealand 3-1 to take the top of Group G.
