France announce squad for November international break; Kylian Mbappe left out

Les Bleus will face Israel and Italy in the UEFA Nations League games.
France have announced their team for their Nations League matches against Israel and Italy in November. Lucas Chevalier, the goalie for Lille, receives his first call-up, and Adrien Rabiot rejoins the national team.
However, captain Kylian Mbappé, who was a conspicuous absence from Didier Deschamps’ 23-man roster, is not included.
After discussions between the two, Deschamps disclosed on Thursday that the Real Madrid attacker was left out. France lost 3-1 at home against Italy in September and now sit behind them in League A Group 2 of the Nations League.
“I had a couple of talks with Mbappé, and I took the decision to leave him out this time,” said Les Bleus’ head coach. “Two things: Mbappé wanted to come, and it’s nothing to do with any court issue.”
Coach Didier Deschamps left Kylian Mbappe off his list of players announced on Thursday, meaning the Real Madrid star will not be included in France’s team for their forthcoming UEFA Nations League matches against Israel and Italy.
After missing the October doubleheader against Belgium and Israel, the skipper of the national team is missing from this roster for the second time in a row.
Due to his injury, Aurelien Tchouameni will be out of commission for at least a month. In the meantime, Deschamps has also benched left-back Ferland Mendy.
Mbappe is the captain of the French national team, but he hasn’t played well for Real Madrid lately. It could have contributed to Deschamps leaving him out of the team.
