Fermin Lopez of Barcelona ensured the win with two stunning goals from outside the box to secure a 3-0 win in the quarter-final over them. Next up for them was Morocco in the semi-final, who looked good on paper but were unable to defeat them, as Spain rattled them to a 2-1 win courtesy of goals from Fermin Lopez and Juanlu Sanchez. With a medal guaranteed, it remains to be seen whether they win the gold or not.
