The midfielder has not featured in any matches since October 4.
Arsenal have received some unsettling news about Martin Odegaard’s fitness after Norway manager Stale Solbakken provided a worrying update on the midfielder.
This update raises serious questions about when the 26-year-old will play again, as there are concerns that he might be sidelined past the international break.
Since sustaining medial ligament damage in his left knee during Arsenal’s 2-0 victory over West Ham on October 4, he has remained out of all matchday squads. The Norwegian was forced off the field after just thirty minutes due to an injury sustained halfway through the first half following a clash with winger Crysencio Summerville.
Arsenal hoped to have him back for the north London derby against Tottenham later this month after preliminary scans indicated a six-week sabbatical. However, that timeline has been called into question after recent report.

The Arsenal captain will continue his recovery under Norway’s medical staff, first in Oslo and then in Milan, where the team will go for Sunday’s match against Italy, according to Solbakken.
“He will fly in [to Oslo] after his rehab on Thursday,” he said. “Then he will continue his rehab with us and will be with us from Thursday afternoon. I don’t know when the flight leaves. But he will be with us until Milan.”
