Junior Messias (Genoa) 

Junior Messias will be hoping to play an important role for Genoa this season by filling the void left by Mateo Retegui. The 33-year-old is an experienced campaigner who played a large chunk of his career in Serie A. Messias is a left-footed winger who is excellent on the ball.

He can be a threat when he cuts inside into his favoured left foot to score some wonderful goals. He is a versatile player and can do the job efficiently in any position up front. 

Lautaro Martinez (Inter Milan) 

Lautaro Martinez had a brilliant 2023-24 campaign after guiding Argentina and Inter Milan to major success this year. After winning the Golden Boot last season for his incredible 27 goals for the team, Martinez continued the same form for Argentina in the Copa America 2024. There he won the Golden Boot for netting five goals with the highlight coming in the final. In the final, he scored the only goal of the game to hand them the trophy.
