The Die Nationalelf will hope to book their place in the competition.

In an attempt to wrap up the World Cup qualification, Germany have revealed their team for the forthcoming international break in November.

Said El Mala’s presence is the announcement’s main talking point. The attacker has been called up to the team despite having only played nine Bundesliga games.

The 19-year-old featured for the under-21 team during the most recent international break and has four goals and two assists in only two Bundesliga starts.

Additionally, Malick Thiaw returns to the German team following a two-year hiatus. The 24-year-old has received recognition for his contributions to Newcastle.

Although playing in Turkey, Leroy Sané was additionally called up to the team. Along with the previously mentioned Kimmich, Leon Goretzka, Jonathan Tah, Aleksandar Pavlović, and Serge Gnabry have received the call-up.

Germany will play Slovakia and Luxembourg during this break. They are now tied on points with Slovakia, whom they will play in their last qualification match, so qualification is not yet certain.

If certain outcomes go against Germany, there is even a chance that they will not participate in the World Cup at all. They will advance to the World Cup finals with two victories, but depending on other outcomes, a victory and a draw might also be sufficient.
