The Germans will begin their World Cup qualifying campaign in September.
Julian Nagelsmann has announced Germany’s squad for the forthcoming World Cup qualifiers. Antonio Rudiger makes a comeback after his unruly behaviour in the Copa del Rey final in June, and received a red card for his antics.
Nagelsmann reprimanded him for throwing an object at the referee. Since then, Rudiger has expressed regret and admitted that his actions were improper.
Several key players, notably Marc-Andre ter Stegen, Kai Havertz, and Jamal Musiala, have been sidelined due to injuries and have not been called up.
Three new players join Germany’s team: Paul Nebel of Mainz, Finn Dahmen of Augsburg, and Nnamdi Collins of Eintracht Frankfurt. These additions have come as Tim Kleindienst and Nico Schlotterbeck are among the players Nagelsmann is dealing with due to a string of injuries.
Germany are going to welcome Northern Ireland three days after playing Slovakia on September 4. Notable players like Alexander Nubel of Stuttgart and Oliver Baumann of Hoffenheim are on the team. The team also includes other players like Waldemar Anton of Borussia Dortmund and Robert Andrich of Bayer Leverkusen.
