Germany vs Curaçao: Kick-off time in India, USA, UK, Australia & more for FIFA World Cup 2026

Germany will lock horns against Curaçao for the first time at the FIFA World Cup 2026.

Four-time champions Germany will face Curaçao in their first game of the FIFA World Cup 2026 at the Houston Stadium in Texas on June 14. The two teams are drawn in Group E of the summer competition alongside Côte d’Ivoire and Ecuador.

Germany secured a spot in the ongoing FIFA World Cup by winning UEFA Qualifying Group A and earning direct qualification. Julian Nagelsmann’s side is also seen as one of the top favourites to win the FIFA World Cup, having won all five of their last games and with their offence performing well.

On the other side, Curaçao qualified for their first-ever FIFA World Cup under veteran Dutch coach Dick Advocaat after playing a goalless draw against Steve McClaren’s Jamaica in November.

While Curaçao have made history as the smallest nation ever to reach the World Cup finals, they will look forward to making their first run memorable.

Creative midfielder Juninho Bacuna and captain Leandro Bacuna are two of the most crucial players in the Caribbean sides’ line-up. Meanwhile, Manchester United academy graduate Tahith Chong could also play a key role for Dick Advocaat’s side.
