Haiti starting lineup vs Morocco confirmed for FIFA World Cup 2026 match

Just making their second appearance in the FIFA World Cup, Haiti were drawn in Group C alongside five-time champions Brazil, Scotland and Morocco. In their opening game against the Tartan Army, Haiti suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat, courtesy of John McGinn’s only goal of the match.

In the second match, they locked horns with Selecao, who drew 1-1 with Morocco in their tournament opener. However, the game did not fare well for Les Grenadiers, who suffered a 3-0 defeat. The defeat confirmed that Sébastien Migné’s side has been eliminated from the summer competition.

However, they are looking forward to scoring their first goal of the campaign while also securing a point as they gear up to face Morocco in their last group stage clash on Saturday, June 24, at the Atlanta Stadium in Georgia.

Beating Morocco would be difficult for Haiti; however, the team has the calibre of scripting history and beating a good team on their day. Meanwhile, the Atlas Lions, who drew with Brazil in their opening game, edged Scotland by a narrow margin of 1 goal. Ismael Saibari’s second-minute strike emerged as the only difference between the two sides last week.

Thoughts on the line-up

Johny Placide will keep the gloves for Les Grenadiers while Jean-Kévin Duverne and Martin Expérience will play as the fullbacks while accompanying Haiti’s central defence, which consists of Ricardo Adé and Hannes Delcroix.

Josué Casimir and Ruben Providence are expected to play a crucial role in providing depth in the midfield alongside Danley Jean Jacques and Jean-Ricner Bellegarde. Four midfielders backed by four defenders will provide balance and support to the lineup.

Les Grenadiers’ strikers, Lenny Joseph and Wilson Isidor, will be responsible for turning chances into goals. However, it will be a task for the 25-year-old because Morocco boasts a strong defence.
