Harry Kane, the star player for Bayern Munich, said that the set-piece frenzy makes watching Premier League football “less enjoyable.” Was it an indirect dig at Arsenal?

Tonight, the former Tottenham Hotspur player will face his former rivals from north London in a crucial Champions League match at the Emirates Stadium.
Harry Kane reveals why he doesn’t watch Premier League games

Arsenal and Bayern have both won all four of their UCL league phase games so far, creating the conditions for what should be an exciting showdown tonight. For Harry Kane, the level of interest in English clubs has significantly decreased.
“Watching the Premier League is probably a little less enjoyable than what it has been in recent years, to be honest, but that’s kind of the evolution of football,” the England captain sighed.
“Sometimes it comes in like this and that’s the case this year. Arsenal have capitalised on that and are a really strong set-plays team.”
In a season that has been defined by talk of dead balls, the Gunners have an unparalleled 10 set-piece Premier League goals. The percentage of non-penalty goals scored from set pieces hasn’t really increased all that much (from 21% to 23%), but in the current environment, perception is reality.
Kane downplayed Bayern’s focus on Arsenal’s set pieces.
“We’ve done our normal preparation that we do in every game,” he shrugged. “Obviously, we looked at what they do well and their threats and how we can try and stop that.”
Bayern and Arsenal are currently enjoying an impressive form in the competition. Both sides are equal on points without a loss, with Bayern top of the table, and the Gunners right behind them in second place.
