Harry Kane reacts to Daniel Levy’s shock Tottenham exit

Daniel Levy resigned as Spurs’ executive chairman after almost 25 years.

The English international Harry Kane has always been associated with Tottenham Hotspur due to his long 15-year career with the Premier League club. He left the club in 2023 to join forces with Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich.

Harry Kane is left in shock after Spurs’ executive chairman Daniel Levy parted ways with the club.

The England national football team skipper joined Tottenham back during his youth days and served for them during most of his senior career. Although he failed to win any major trophies with the North London club, Kane is regarded as one of the legends for Spurs.

On the other hand, Daniel Levy was appointed as Spurs’ executive chairman in February 2001. Although the club failed to lift a league title during his tenure, they managed to win some major trophies, including the Europa League title in 2025.

Harry Kane’s Reaction to Daniel Levy parting ways with Tottenham

Spurs recently made a shocking announcement when they officially announced that the club are parting ways with Daniel Levy after two decades. Under the British business tycoon, Tottenham have grown to become a widely recognised football club. They recently ended their 17-year drought for a silverware by clinching the UEFA Europa League.

Reacting to this matter, Harry Kane said, “Obviously it was a bit of a surprise, if I’m honest. I didn’t expect it, didn’t see that coming. Daniel has been a fantastic chairman for Tottenham in the 20-or-so years he’s been there.”

This reaction by ex-Tottenham star clearly displays his shock. He further mentioned, “Considering where the club was and where it is now, I think there’s been a big change, not just on the pitch but off the pitch as well.”

Harry Kane also wished “the best” to Daniel Levy after his exit from the club.

“At any stage there’s always going to be change in clubs, and change in the higher positions. Obviously, I don’t know too much about why or what happened. We obviously built a relationship over the time we had together. I’m sure at some stage we’ll catch up. Overall for Tottenham, it’s a new chapter they’re trying to create now,” Kane said further.
