These clubs continue to fill their stadiums in good numbers for every game.

The sensation of watching football from the stands is unmatched. The tension, the excitement, and the sheer volume of support are still unparalleled.

The top teams in Europe continue to draw sizable crowds every week, but one team comfortably leads the others in terms of average attendance this season—and it might not be the name most people anticipate.

The highest average stadium attendance in Europe (2025)

15. Stuttgart: 59,375

Stuttgart regularly attracts some of the largest audiences in Europe, although they are now just outside the top four of the Bundesliga. Die Roten drew close to 59,375 spectators to the Neckarstadion (MHP Arena) in 2025. They will hope to remain among the clubs with the highest attendance in the stadium.

14. Arsenal: 60,199

Arsenal may finally break their trophy drought in 2025–2026 after finishing as runners-up in three consecutive Premier League seasons in the past. The Gunners continue to draw on average 60,199 devoted supporters as they dominate the English Premier Division this season.

The current Premier League winners, Liverpool, sit in fourth place. Following an incredible 2024–2025 season in which they won the Premier League title, Arne Slot’s team is currently experiencing a series of disappointing outcomes. Anfield is still crowded every week despite their poor performance.

Tottenham, who are likewise having difficulties under Thomas Frank, come next.

The atmosphere of the old White Hart Lane was difficult for the new stadium to replicate, but by all accounts, a matchday at the new stadium is rather stunning.

With more than 61,544 spectators on a regular basis, the Metropolitano Stadium (Riyadh Air Metropolitano) has one of the most intense matchday environments. Since moving in in 2017, Atlético Madrid have settled in and will remain one of the top clubs to have a huge number of fans.

Regardless of the opposition, it was the biggest turnout in France and undoubtedly one of the most famous settings. At least once in their lives, every football fan ought to travel to the (Orange) Vélodrome to witness the atmosphere and watch the game from the stadium.

6. Inter Milan: 69,840

In terms of attendance and points, the Serie A is now in the lead. AC Milan are ahead of city rivals Inter, but neither team is close to packing the San Siro’s 75,923 seats.

5. AC Milan: 72,033

In both the average attendance rankings and the league standings, Inter are behind AC Milan. As both Milan clubs look to update their facilities, the storied San Siro is set to be demolished in the near future.

Even though Real Madrid’s performance is waning, the crowd is still impressive. The Bernabéu underwent significant modifications in recent years, transforming the stadium into a remarkable centre of culture and commerce. The matchday experience was much improved, but the capacity remained unchanged.

Even if Manchester United’s last peak was more than ten years ago, the supporters are still devoted. Plans for the grandiose 100,000-seat stadium known as the “New Trafford,” which is scheduled for the 2030s, have been revealed.

Bayern Munich have consistently maintained weekly attendance at the Allianz Arena, which has a capacity of 75,000. In addition to its amazing capacity, the stadium is highly known throughout the world for its amazing colour-changing facade. In honour of der Kaiser, the stadium’s address was recently changed to Franz Beckenbauer Platz 5.

Borussia Dortmund’s Westfalenstadion (Signal Iduna Park) is the venue that draws the most spectators each week. The stadium was constructed in the 1970s and can accommodate more than 81,365 spectators. Situated on the southern terrace, the renowned Yellow Wall adds to the most legendary matchday atmosphere in Europe.
