The English winger is one of the world’s highest-paid footballers.

Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka has signed a five-year deal that will keep him at the Emirates through the summer of 2031.

When the 24-year-old signed the new contract, he became one of the club’s biggest earners, besides other Gunners’ players.

What is Saka’s expected salary, and how does it stack up against the rest of the Gunners’ first team roster? We examine the top five Arsenal players in terms of reported salary:

5. Martin Odegaard – £240,000 a week

In September 2023, the captain signed a five-year deal, which at the time made him the third-highest paid member of the playing team.

Odegaard had that time finished the season in which he had 15 goals and seven assists, but Arsenal had lost the Premier League title battle.

Even though he hasn’t been able to equal that goal total in later campaigns, the Norwegian has remained a significant player ever since.

4. William Saliba – £250,000 a week

Before agreeing to a new deal, William Saliba wasn’t Mikel Arteta’s preferred choice at the back, although his arrival from Marseille after spending a loan stint there has seen him transformed into a solid centre-back.

Since becoming a regular starter for the first team at the start of the 2022–2023 season, Saliba has established himself as a mainstay of the squad’s defence. His new deal keeps him at the Emirates until 2030, and he is currently one of Mikel Arteta’s most vital players.

3. Gabriel Jesus – £265,000 a week

In the summer of 2022, Arsenal had to pay more to entice the Brazilian international away from Manchester City.

Although injuries have hampered Jesus’ impact over the past three and a half years, he was hailed as the missing piece in the puzzle, offering a powerful goal threat.

The 28-year-old is reportedly eager to remain with the Gunners past the end of his current contract, which ends in 2027, but the club would need to carefully consider the advantages and disadvantages given his high pay.

2. Kai Havertz – £280,000 a week

Kai Havertz has experienced his share of injury issues, particularly in the past 12 months, much like Jesus. Havertz was sidelined due to a hamstring injury before making a return and again picking up another injury, yet the club appears to perform better when he is on the field.

The forward has a contract that expires in 2028. But, there are currently no indications that he will be granted an extension.

1. Bukayo Saka – £300,000+ a week

Bukayo Saka will make more than Havertz, making him the club’s highest-paid player, according to reputable writer Sami Mokbel.

Saka will receive the fifth-highest wage in the Premier League overall, along with Bernardo Silva of Manchester City and Bruno Fernandes, the leader of Manchester United.

The only players that earn greater money are Virgil van Dijk (£350,000 per week), Casemiro (£350,000 per week), Mohamed Salah (£400,000 per week), and Erling Haaland (£500,000+ per week).

How much does Bukayo Saka make in a season?

£10 million.

How much does Martin Odegaard make in a week?

He makes £240,000.

How much does Kai Havertz make in a week?

He makes £280,000.
