The Gunners have not lifted the EPL title since 2003-04.

The North London-based side Arsenal have become one of the most talked-about clubs in recent days. After staying at the top for almost the whole season, they might even fail to win the English Premier League once again.

It has already been three times in a row that Arsenal have failed to secure the Premier League title after coming close. They finished as runner-ups in the 2022-23, 2023-24 and 2024-25 seasons under the manager Mikel Arteta.

The Gunners last won the Premier League trophy (2003-04) more than 20 years ago. This is also considered the ‘Invincibles’ year for the club. They still own the record for the longest unbeaten league run (49 matches).

In the ongoing campaign (2025-26), they have a chance to lift the EPL title. Their recent performances have not been up to the mark. Due to this, they might see the title slip away once again.

The North London club recently lost to Manchester City in the league, putting their chances of winning the EPL trophy in jeopardy. They need to maintain calm and composure on the field. Arsenal must also work on their strategy, which will surely help them regain their momentum.

They lifted their first-ever league title during the 1997-98 season under the French manager Arsene Wenger. The Gunners went on to win two more EPL trophies (2001-02 and 2003-04). These titles also came under the same manager.

This year, they have already missed out on winning the FA Cup and the Carabao Cup. Anyhow, Mikel Arteta’s men still have a chance to win the English Premier League and the UEFA Champions League.
