How many games AC Milan star Christian Pulisic could miss after injury against Atalanta?

The Serie A giants have sent the forward for scans.
Given that the USMNT star may be out for a maximum of three weeks, AC Milan plan to send Christian Pulisic for an MRI on Monday.
The 26-year-old forward was seen holding his right calf when the United States international was ejected from the field prior to halftime in Milan’s 2-1 loss at Atalanta. The severity of Pulisic’s most recent injury issue was questioned as medical personnel failed to stop him from being substituted.
On December 9, Pulisic will go through another test, according to Gazzetta dello Sport. The Rossoneri will have a clearer sense of how long their American talisman might be sidelined based on the results of those exams. It is anticipated that he will undoubtedly miss Wednesday’s UEFA Champions League matchup against Crvena Zvezda.
According to Gazzetta, calf problems can be “tricky,” and it’s unclear if Pulisic has a full strain or a muscle niggle. According to reports, it might take him up to three weeks to get back to full-match fitness.
Pulisic might miss Serie A matches against Genoa and Verona if that were to be the case. He is additionally doubtful for a December 29 home game against AS Roma. He might return for AC Milan’s first game of 2025, a matchup with Juventus in the Supercoppa Italiana semi-final.
The ex-Borussia Dortmund forward’s injury made AC Milan’s performance against Atalanta even worse as they lost badly after the player limped out. “The loss of Christian can be a bit gut-wrenching for Milan because he’s been the most in-form player this season in a Milan jersey,” expert Ian Joy said in response to Christian Pulisic’s injury to CBS Sports Golazo.
“It looked a very innocuous fall: he slipped and then his heel got stuck. Look at the heel; the studs sort of stick inside the grass and as he’s gone down, he’s got his full body weight on it. He didn’t look like he wanted to continue, so it must have been something serious to have wanted to go off.”
