How soon can Liverpool win the Premier League 2024-25 title?

The Reds are 13 points clear at the top of the league.
After extending their advantage at the top of the table to 13 points, Liverpool’s ascent to the Premier League title now appears certain.
No side in the history of the English Premier League, dating back to 1888–1889, has been as dominant at this point in the season and not taken home the championship.
“It’s becoming less of a title race and more of a procession isn’t it?” Gary Lineker, host of Match of the Day, remarked.
The Reds, who have lost only once this season, defeated Newcastle 2-0 on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Arsenal are in the second spot and were held to a 0-0 draw with Nottingham Forest which further dented their hopes of challenging for the title race.
Only one side has ever led the league by 13 points and failed to win the championship, when Arsenal defeated Manchester United (they were leading) to win the Premier League title in 1997–98, however, that victory came earlier in the season.
We examine when Liverpool might win the Premier League crown and secure a record 20th title.
When Liverpool can seal the Premier League title this season?
The Anfield team is undoubtedly racing quickly towards lifting the title, therefore the question is not if, but when. According to Statisticians Opta, Liverpool have a 98.7% chance of winning the championship, while Arsenal have a 1.3% chance.
Even though Arsenal have 11 games remaining, the Anfield giants lead the Gunners by 13 points with 10 games remaining. The Reds will win the championship with four games remaining if they hold a 13-point lead on April 26.
However, Liverpool might secure the title against Chelsea if the Gunners fail to win their game in hand and maintain their other performance.
If that happens then they would play Arsenal at home in their first match as champions, and they might even be given a guard of honour when they take the field.
Liverpool only plays one league game in March due to their success in the Champions League, their berth in the Carabao Cup final versus Newcastle, and an international break.
They could mathematically win the championship as early as the first week of April. It would be finished on April 5 if the Reds win their next three contests and Arsenal lose their next four (with teams below them also dropping a few points).
Meanwhile, if Liverpool are to become the fastest club to win the league they will have to break Manchester United‘s record, who remain the quickest club to win the Premier League on April 14, 2001.
