The football fans in India will experience an early Christmas this year as the global superstar and Argentinian football legend Lionel Messi will be arriving in India in mid-December. The FIFA World Cup winner will be in India for his GOAT Tour 2025.

This will be Messi‘s second visit to India. His first visit was back in 2011 when he came to Kolkata with the Argentinian team to play a friendly against Venezuela. The former FC Barcelona star will be visiting multiple cities, giving football fans in this country an opportunity to watch their hero in front of their eyes.

Lionel Messi to visit Indian after 14 years

Lionel Messi’s tour will start on December 13 in Kolkata. The fans can flock to the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan to meet Lionel Messi. His tour will move to Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. He will be present in the financial capital of India on December 14.

The next day, on December 15, he will be visiting the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, lighting up the national capital with his presence. In the announcement on social media, Messi also hinted at visiting another Indian city, which has not been disclosed yet. That city might be Ahmedabad, as per the reports.

How to buy tickets for Messi’s GOAT tour?

The tickets for the Kolkata leg, Mumbai leg, and Delhi leg of the tour will exclusively be available on the District app. The pre-sale for the tickets will start at 12:00 PM IST on October 8 and will last for a day (T&C applied), till 12:00 PM IST on October 9. Following the pre-sale of the tickets, the general sale will start at 2:00 PM IST on October 9.
