In a Thursday conversation with El Partidazo de COPE, Carvajal discussed his fellow player Rodri Hernandez from Spain. He acknowledged that he had been pleading with the midfielder for Manchester City to move to Real Madrid with him.

“Without a doubt, I’d want him at Real Madrid. I tell him every day to leave Manchester, there is no sun there, to come to Madrid because we need him. He tells me he has a contract… but he would be perfect for us.”

Being one of the finest midfielders in the world, Rodri has had an excellent Euro 2024 campaign for Spain, which he hopes to cap off by leading La Roja to a fourth European Championship victory.

Even if Real Madrid expressed interest in Rodri, Man City are probably not too concerned about the issue. Given his previous ties to Atletico Madrid, it would undoubtedly require a sizable deal to get him away from Pep Guardiola’s team. Even in the event that a bid is accepted, it may be challenging to convince him to sign.

Will Rodri be open to joining Real Madrid from Man City?
