2. 5-2 defeat vs. Galatasaray [February 17, 2026]
Juventus lost 5-2 away to Galatasaray on Tuesday night, 17 February 2026, giving up five goals in a European game for just the second time in the club’s long history. The Bianconeri would have needed to create history if they wanted to advance to the Champions League round of 16. However, the Turkish side got them out of the competition in the play-off stage.
Juve’s Champions League play-off round started with the worst possible start when they were thrashed 5-2 in Istanbul. If Juventus wanted to maintain their chances of making it to the round of 16 of the Champions League, they would have needed to win by a minimum of four goals without conceding any in Turin.
1. 7-0 defeat vs. Wiener SC [October 1, 1958]
Juventus suffered their first-ever most humiliating defeat in their history against an Austrian side, Wiener Sport-Club, in the European Cup 1958/59.
It was one of the devastating experiences in the club’s history as the fans watched the demolition by a club that was never heard of. But when they put seven past the Serie A giants, their name was put on the front page of every Italian newspaper the next day.
