The Portuguese star scored in Al Nassr’s last game.

Prior to their flight to Doha, Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr suffered a humiliating 1-2 home loss to Al Qadisiya, which dealt a serious blow to their expectation of winning the Saudi Pro League title. They were also eliminated from the King Cup by Al-Taawon in the round of 16, where CR7 missed a last-minute penalty that might have compelled extra time.

CR7 and company are undoubtedly enjoying a strong start to the AFC Champions League. Following a 1-1 draw with Al Shorta on the first day, they have now defeated Al Rayyan, Esteghlal, and most recently, defending champions Al Ain 5-1, to take third place behind the unstoppable Al Hilal and Al Ahli SC.

The Knights of Najd, similar to their opponents on Monday, have recently displayed defensive flaws and irregularities, as seen by the fact that they have only kept one clean sheet in their last six competitive games. We expect a thrilling game where both clubs will probably light up the scoreboard because they are strong offensively but lack defensive consistency.

Recently, Ronaldo has been playing quite well. During Portugal’s recent international break, he scored a stunning overhead goal and appeared to be in excellent form.

Additionally, he scored in Al-Nassr’s most recent game against Al-Qadsdsiah. Since other players aren’t playing well, supporters rely on Ronaldo to win them over.

Will Cristiano Ronaldo play tonight?

Ronaldo will be ready to play tonight after scoring a goal against Al Qadsdsiah which was not enough for his side to save them from defeat. It was a disappointing night for the Portuguese who could have helped his side cut the gap between the second and first side.

However, he will now focus on their next match in the AFC Champions League Elite. Al Nassr are third in the table of the competition and a win will see them take the second spot. In their last AFC game, they beat Al Ain by a huge margin and will hope to bounce back from the recent defeat in the league.
