Al-Nassr will host Al Qadsiah FC in the Saudi Pro League tonight.
Although they havenât lost a game this season, Cristiano Ronaldoâs Al-Nassr are already six points behind their table-topping opponents in the title battle after ten games. They aim to unseat rivals Al-Hilal as the Saudi Pro League champions.
In the AFC Champions League, Al-Alami crushed Al Ain 5-1 after drawing 1-1 with Al-Hilal. They next faced Al Riyadh and Sadio Maneâs strike in the 41st minute contributed to a 1-0 win over Al Riyadh before the international break.
Although his team is still undefeated this campaign, Stefano Pioliâs team is in third place with 22 points, five points below second-place Al-Ittihad, despite having a record of five victories and a pair of draws in his first seven games as manager since taking over in mid-September.
Al-Nassr will have to cut the gap with their rivals if they are to challenge for the title this season. They cannot risk any more draws or defeats given it could result in a big setback for them given the form Al-Hilal are in, who have shown no signs of losing any matches.
Even for Al-Ittihad who are second in the table and are just a point behind Al-Hilal. Al-Nassr will have to close the gap between them before even considering getting near the Al-Hilal.
