Mikel Arteta finally delivered the league title to the Gunners.

Arsenal won the Premier League on Tuesday night, making Mikel Arteta just the 13th manager to win the league after years of waiting and finishing second in the table for the past three years.

The Gunners have won the competition for the fourth time in club history and for the first time since 2003–04, when they ended the season undefeated under Arsene Wenger.

Arteta is the third-youngest manager to win the Premier League, at 44 years and 54 days. José Mourinho, who won the championship with Chelsea in 2004–05 at 42 years and 94 days and in 2005–06 at 43 years and 93 days, was the first and second youngest.

After Pep Guardiola with Man City, Arteta is the second Spanish manager to lead his team to a Premier League championship.

Mikel Arteta is the first coach to win the Premier League with a team he played for. Before hanging up his boots in 2016, he made 110 league appearances in five seasons for Arsenal, after joining from Everton in 2011.
