The Ivory Coast vs Norway match will take place at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, tonight.

Ivory Coast and Norway face off in a feisty Round of 32 clash in the ongoing FIFA World Cup 2026 on June 30. The Vikings qualified for the knockouts as the Group I runners-up, and they will be slight favourites against Les Elephants, who were the Group E runners-up.

Both sides have had a historic campaign in this year’s expanded 48-team edition in North America. The African side began their campaign with a 1-0 win against Ecuador, courtesy of a late goal from Amad Diallo. They then suffered a 2-1 heartbreak against Germany.

However, a 2-0 win against Curacao on the final matchday, powered by a brace from Nicolas Pepe, catapulted the Ivorians to the knockout stages for the first time in their history.

Norway, meanwhile, clinched back-to-back wins against Iraq (4-1) and Senegal (3-2), with Erling Haaland scoring a brace in both games. However, the Vikings suffered a 4-1 loss to France on their final matchday.

Despite this, the Scandinavian giants marked their return to the tournament after a 28-year gap with a place in the last 32, and they will look to go one step further.
