Jordan vs Algeria: Full list of substitutes for FIFA World Cup match

Both are looking for their first win in the World Cup 2026.
Algeria and Jordan will face off today at San Francisco Bay Area Stadium, just a week after their initial World Cup defeats. Both are looking for their first Group J win.
Despite losing 3-1 to Austria in their World Cup debut, Jordan stayed in the game until the 12th minute of second-half stoppage time.
The future for Jamal Sellami’s side may not be good, given that the West Asian squad has not kept a clean sheet in their six-match winless streak, conceding at least twice in each game and losing four of those games.
Algeria will want to exploit such defensive flaws as they try to move on from their own tournament opener, a 3-0 loss to Argentina on their World Cup comeback.
The two-time African champions have not competed in the championships since their 2014 campaign, which concluded in an extra-time loss to eventual victors Germany in the round of 16.
Their chances against Messi and company were hampered by Luca Zidane’s error-filled performance, with the custodian responsible for two of the reigning champions’ goals.
Nonetheless, with that defeat behind them, Vladimir Petkovic’s players will look to be a significantly improved version of themselves after not beating Lionel Scaloni’s Argentina in Kansas City.
Algeria’s string of early World Cup exits came to a stop at the fourth attempt in 2014, and they now want to earn a victory that will put them on the verge of back-to-back knockout stage participation, though they would still need a positive result in their last Group J encounter against Austria.
